“The mass of men live lives of quiet desperation.”
- Henry Thoreau
What is Men’s Work?
At its core, Men’s Work is a set of tools, practices, and processes that help men come back into connection with themselves, with other men, with their deeper purpose, and with the world around them.
It is not therapy. It is not fixing. It is about remembering.
Men’s Work invites you to get out of your head, into your body, and into your life. It’s about confronting your shadows, claiming your truth, cleaning up the past to set you free, and learning to show up fully in your relationships, career, and leadership.
Where It Comes From:
This movement has roots in ancient rites of passage, tribal initiations, and sacred brotherhood. In modern times, it’s been carried forward by teachers like:
John Wineland, who teaches embodied masculine leadership and relational depth.
Connor Beaton (founder of Mantalks), who supports men in uncovering and integrating their shadow.
David Deida, whose work inspired a new conversation around spiritual polarity and masculine/feminine dynamics.
And countless grassroots men’s groups around the world offering a place for men to drop the mask and get real.
What Happens in Men’s Work?
No two groups are the same, but Men’s Work often includes:
Honest conversations about life, sex, purpose, and power.
Practices that build emotional resilience and embodiment.
Accountability and support to live in integrity.
Shadow work - facing the parts of yourself you’ve been hiding or avoiding.
Learning to lead from grounded masculine energy, not from force or avoidance.
Being witnessed and supported by other men who are doing their work too.
Why It Matters:
We’re living in a time where many men feel lost, disconnected, or unsure how to lead without dominating - or love without losing themselves.
Men’s Work is the antidote. Not to become someone new, but to finally come home to yourself. To be a man who’s present, embodied, trustworthy, and fully alive.
Who Is It For?
This work is for men who are ready to:
Go beyond surface-level self-help.
Show up more fully in their relationships.
Reconnect to their purpose and power.
Be part of a brotherhood of men who hold each other to a higher standard.
Whether you’re successful on the outside but feel empty inside, or just beginning your journey of growth, this work meets you where you are - and helps you go deeper.
